How did Honor Flight Buffalo get started and become a "Hub" of the National Honor Flight Network?

Lisa and Jo-Anne's Dad, S/SGT Robert P. Wylie,  a World War II Veteran who was a Charter Member of the building of the World War II Memorial never had the privilege of seeing his memorial.  In honor of their Dad,  Honor Flight Buffalo was founded in 2009 and the organization's first flight took place on June 5th, 2010.  Honor Flight Buffalo is now an "official hub" of the Honor Flight Network. Mr. Wylie was a charter member of the World War II Memorial Society.
