Dress Down Day to support Honor Flight Buffalo's Veterans.

The Akron Faculty Association raised funds to support our Veterans.  The faculty and staff at the Akron Central Schools support our Veterans through "Dress Down" fundraisers throughout the year.  Total raised $397.00.  Thank you with a special thank you to Michelle Blish.

On June 16, 2014 Quota International of East Aurora presented $600.00 to Honor Flight Buffalo.  Quota is an international service organization which links members of all ages, occupations and nationalities in a worldwide network of service and friendship.  The funds were raised by a chicken BBQ in May and theme basket raffle in October.  Thank you!

members donation at their June luncheon to support our Veterans.  Retirees of Buffalo City Hospital,

Erie County Medical Center Corporation and Erie County Home

On June 13, 2014, the Second Annual Flag Parade was held at  the Sheridan Hill Elementary School.  Again, this year the Flag Day Committee decided that proceeds from the fundraising activities would be donated to Honor Flight Buffalo. The students and faculty raised $1,596.65 to send World War II Veterans to experience a trip of a lifetime. Special thank you to all the students and faculty, as well as organizations who assisted in their efforts. Switala's Construction of Clarence matched funds raised by the students and faculty. In addition to the fundraising events, the students presented Honor Flight Buffalo hundreds of "Mail Call Letters" thanking our Veterans for their service to allow all of us the freedom we enjoy today. A special thank you to Betty Messer Daigler, whose Dad, George Messer, U.S. Army World War II veteran was a participant on Honor Flight Buffalo's September 11, 2010 flight.  Thank you for your continued support. 

Buffalo Naval and Military Park Docents support our Veterans!
Chief Docent, Robert McFarland and other Docents presented a donation
to Honor Flight Buffalo on June 7th, 2014 at
the Welcome Home, $450.00! A Docent’s daughters made a military themed quilt
that she donated to the Docents which they then raffled off.

Eden Elementary School fundraises again for our Veterans!
Again this year, the students, faculty and staff of Eden Elementary School collected donations and recycled bottles to raise money to assist in carrying out our mission.  On March 21, 2014 they presented Honor Flight Buffalo with the proceeds.  We have invited the the students, faculty and staff of the school to our Welcome Home on June 7th to announce the grand total - $906.00!  Special thanks to Mrs. Lorry Malkowski, all the students including Martin B. and Anthony T., the Eden Drama Club and the
Eden Teacher's Association.
 Post 928 Raises $550.00! 
On April 26, 2014 The Newcomb-Long Post 928 in Derby, NY sponsored the showing of the Honor Flight - The Movie. All proceeds were donated to Honor Flight Buffalo - to Keep Our Veterans Flying. Post 928 Honor Guard presented the colors and prior to the movie, the National Anthem was played. The Ladies Auxiliary also participated. Special thanks to
Mr. Chuck Kramer Chairman of the Event. Special thank you to The Newcomb-Long Post 928, Mr. Kramer and all who participated.

 
LoVullo Associates, Inc. has a strong commitment to the community.  On Friday of each month they hold a fundraiser to benefit smaller, local charities.  The month of May, Honor Flight Buffalo was chosen.  Thank you to all the employees and assisting in Keeping our Veterans Flying!
